On 05/24/2016 at 3:45 P.M. The Oregon County Sheriff's Office was made aware of a man and woman with two children who were canoeing on the Eleven Point River. The Oregon County Sheriff's Office was also made aware of two other men on kayaks who were on the Eleven Point River. Due to an excessive amount of rain fall the Eleven Point River began to flood. The Oregon County Sheriff's office utilizing a rescue boat was able to rescue the 2 men who were stranded on the Eleven Point River in the flood. The man and woman with the two children were taken off of the river at the Whitten Access by one of the canoe rentals.
On 06/04/2016 at 8:59 A.M the Oregon County Sheriff's Office responded to Boze Mill river access on the Eleven Point River for a male subject that had injured his leg while canoeing. He was transported from Boze Mill Access to Ozarks Medical Center. The Oregon County Sheriff's Office utilizing a rescue boat rescued a second stranded subject that was left at a gravel bar since the only canoe they had was used to transport the injured male to Boze Mill to receive medical care.
